Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Commercial Housekeeper to join our team in Independence. This vital role involves maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appearance of commercial facilities through thorough cleaning and custodial duties. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, attention to detail, and a passion for creating a welcoming environment for clients and staff alike. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to a professional setting while developing valuable skills in facilities maintenance and cleaning operations. Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas Utilize janitorial supplies and equipment effectively to ensure high standards of cleanliness Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping and mopping to maintain pristine surfaces Handle industrial cleaning tasks as needed, including specialized cleaning procedures for high-traffic or heavy-duty areas Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or safety hazards promptly Maintain cleanliness logs and complete shift reports to ensure accountability and consistency in service delivery Skills Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols Familiarity with custodial tasks such as trash removal, restroom sanitation, and surface disinfecting Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance standards Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team Join us to help create clean, safe environments that leave a lasting positive impression!
