Clair Country Club is a private, full-service, family-oriented, social club located in the West End of Belleville, Illinois, and is one of the finest golf and country club facilities in the St. Louis Metropolitan area (only 15 minutes from downtown St. Louis). As a private member-owned Club, professionalism and hospitality are paramount. We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time housekeeper to perform a variety of housekeeping duties throughout the Clubhouse. This position offers a flexible schedule and can be built around your scheduling needs. It is great for experienced career housekeepers, for those who would like to begin a career in the hospitality field, or for those who need a low-pressure flexible income source. Position Summary Housekeeping

• Regularly perform housekeeping and cleaning duties such as dusting, mopping, vacuuming, polishing, and mirror and window cleaning in assigned areas throughout the Clubhouse. Clean, sanitize, and restock paper products in bathrooms. Laundry duties, removal and disposal of trash, and other duties as assigned. Safety
• Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions. Responsible for the safe and proper mixing and use of cleaning solutions while adhering to all safety precautions. Reporting equipment/cleaning product needs and or malfunctions to supervisor in a timely fashion. Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met. • After completing all appropriate training, utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision and do so without injury to oneself or other individuals. Punctual
• Consistent attendance and punctual arrival. Timely completion of assigned cleaning area according to schedule. Communicative
• Cleary and timely communicate any identified maintenance-related issues, personal schedule conflicts, and any member comments or requests to the supervisor. Qualifications
• Must be able to speak, read and write to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time
• Previous housekeeping experience is strongly preferred
• Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 25 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 25 pounds, and stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to work around food and cleaning products
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred

Pay & Benefits :

Employees are paid a competitive hourly rate that is commensurate with experience. Full-time employment (32+ hours per week) is eligible for benefits including dental, health, vision, and life insurance as well as paid time off.

Hours:

Applicants would be required to commit to at least 15-20 hours a week.
