Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitizing surfaces to meet hotel standards. Handle laundry operations efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with care. Use appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents safely while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces through regular janitorial practices. Follow hotel emergency procedures and sanitation protocols to ensure guest safety at all times. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and chemical agents to ensure availability and proper storage. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and ensuring their comfort throughout their stay. Experience Prior hotel housekeeping management or custodial experience is highly desirable. Proven background in industrial or janitorial cleaning with knowledge of floor cleaning, floor care, vacuuming, and sanitation procedures. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and hospitality industry standards. Ability to handle heavy lifting safely when moving furniture or large laundry loads. Experience handling chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety data sheets (SDS) compliance. Strong understanding of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure guest well-being. Demonstrated commitment to cleanliness excellence through previous hotel or custodial roles.
