Duties Perform comprehensive cleaning duties including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, carpet cleaning, and sanitation of all rooms and surfaces to ensure a spotless environment. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate detergents and equipment to maintain hygiene standards. Handle laundry tasks such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing clothing and linens efficiently. Operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively, including vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and janitorial tools. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, appliances, or supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Maintain outdoor work areas by sweeping sidewalks, cleaning outdoor furniture, and ensuring exterior spaces are tidy. Communicate professionally with clients to understand their needs, provide updates on cleaning progress, and address any special requests or concerns promptly. Follow time management practices to complete all assigned tasks within scheduled periods without compromising quality. Ensure proper storage and disposal of cleaning supplies and waste in accordance with health regulations. Experience Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning roles with a strong understanding of janitorial procedures. Familiarity with cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards. Experience operating various cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor buffers, steam cleaners, and other janitorial tools. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and safe handling practices for chemicals used in sanitation processes. Prior experience in laundry including sorting, washing, drying, folding, and stain removal. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients about their preferences and needs. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely while lifting heavy objects or moving furniture as required. Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout each shift.
