Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Housekeeper to join our team and ensure that residential spaces are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, surface cleaning, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms and kitchens. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment to ensure hygienic environments. Conduct floor cleaning tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and performing carpet cleaning when necessary. Manage laundry duties including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of furniture or supplies safely and efficiently. Maintain cleanliness of outdoor areas when required, including patios or entryways. Use proper janitorial equipment for cleaning surfaces, floors, and upholstery while adhering to safety standards. Communicate effectively with clients to understand specific needs and provide exceptional customer service. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and used responsibly in accordance with safety guidelines. Follow time management practices to complete assigned tasks promptly while maintaining high-quality standards. Experience Prior experience in residential or commercial cleaning is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning procedures including sanitation protocols and surface care techniques. Experience with various cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, carpet extractors, mops, and buffers. Knowledge of cleaning detergents, disinfectants, and proper manual handling methods. Previous work in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is advantageous. Outdoor work experience is a plus for maintaining exterior areas when required. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively.
