The Houseman plays an important role in keeping the hotel clean, comfortable, safe, and running smoothlyfor our guests. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, takes pride in their work, and iscomfortable working independently as well as with a team. Responsibilities Assist the housekeeping department with daily hotel operations Keep hallways, public areas, stairways, elevators, and other assigned areas clean and presentable Deliver linens, towels, amenities, and other supplies to housekeeping staff as needed Remove trash and maintain cleanliness around the property Collect the trash from the Housekeepers and take it to dumpster at the end of day Assist with cleaning guest rooms when needed Assist with moving furniture, mattresses, rollaway beds, and other hotel items when needed maintain cleanliness of the hotel parking lot ,exterior and entrance areas Assist with guest requests and provide friendly, professional service Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager or Housekeeping Manager Qualifications Previous hotel, housekeeping, janitorial, or maintenance experience is preferred butnot required Must be dependable and punctual Must have a positive attitude and professional appearance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication and customer-service skills Ability to lift and move supplies and equipment Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and perform physical work throughout the shift Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay
