Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation of all surfaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle laundry operations efficiently by washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing with proper manual handling techniques. Maintain cleanliness of public spaces such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and common areas through regular cleaning routines and floor care procedures. Use safety data sheets (SDS) to handle chemical agents safely while adhering to all safety protocols related to chemical handling and sanitation procedures. Operate janitorial equipment like vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and mops to ensure high-quality cleaning standards are met consistently. Follow hotel housekeeping management protocols and emergency procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike. Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and laundry materials to ensure operational efficiency. Experience Previous custodial or janitorial experience in hospitality or industrial cleaning environments is preferred. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management systems and hotel emergency procedures is advantageous. Experience handling chemical agents safely in compliance with safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks required for laundry loads and cleaning equipment. Strong customer service skills with an energetic attitude to ensure guest satisfaction through attentive service delivery. Knowledge of sanitation standards, hotel housekeeping best practices, and industrial cleaning techniques enhances your effectiveness in this role.
