Housekeeping - Full-Time Days Are you someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, comfortable, and welcoming? Our senior living community is looking for a dependable and detail oriented Housekeeping Team Member to help make our community feel like home for the residents we serve. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys staying active, working independently, and seeing the difference their work makes each day. Schedule Full-Time Monday through Friday 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Housekeeping Responsibilities Clean assigned resident rooms and common areas thoroughly and efficiently Maintain a high level of cleanliness with strong attention to detail Change linens and make residents' beds as needed Collect and remove trash Collect and transfer soiled laundry from resident neighborhoods Keep assigned areas clean, organized, and welcoming Follow established cleaning, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Be respectful and courteous when working in residents' homes and shared spaces What We're Looking For Someone who takes pride in doing a job well Strong attention to detail Dependable and able to work independently Friendly, respectful, and comfortable working around seniors Able to manage time effectively and complete assigned areas thoroughly Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience is helpful, but not required
Physical Requirements :
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday. Ability to frequently bend, stoop, squat, kneel, reach, twist, and perform repetitive motions while completing cleaning tasks. Ability to lift and carry up to 25-30 pounds regularly and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds , with assistance when appropriate. Ability to push and pull housekeeping carts, vacuums, mop buckets, and other cleaning equipment. Ability to use hands and arms continuously for tasks such as vacuuming, mopping, wiping, scrubbing, dusting, and making beds. Ability to safely climb and use a step stool or small ladder when necessary. Ability to work around cleaning products, dust, odors, and other materials commonly encountered during housekeeping duties. Ability to perform physical tasks at a steady pace while moving throughout resident rooms, common areas, hallways, and other areas of the community. Must be able to safely perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
