Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle various cleaning tasks using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents while adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines. Maintain public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and other hotel spaces by performing routine sanitation and floor care. Manage heavy lifting tasks involving furniture, linens, and cleaning supplies safely and efficiently. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly when necessary, ensuring guest safety at all times. Use janitorial and industrial cleaning techniques to uphold hygiene standards across all hotel areas. Document completed tasks accurately and report any maintenance or sanitation issues to management for prompt resolution. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial roles with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management preferred. Strong skills in floor cleaning, sanitation, and handling chemical agents safely in compliance with SDS protocols. Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, buffers, and floor scrubbers effectively. Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical capability for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking during shifts. Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols essential for maintaining a secure environment. Prior experience in industrial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for the right candidate.
