Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, and public areas using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Handle various cleaning tasks including vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and sanitation to maintain cleanliness standards. Safely operate cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers and vacuums, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and chemical handling protocols. Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture, linens, and cleaning supplies while following proper safety procedures. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities, report maintenance issues promptly, and ensure compliance with housekeeping management standards. Requirements Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within hospitality or similar environments; hotel housekeeping management experience is a plus. Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques including floor care and sanitation practices. Ability to handle chemical agents safely, including understanding safety data sheets (SDS) and proper chemical handling procedures. Skilled in operating cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and other janitorial tools. Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting tasks and manual handling duties throughout shifts Excellent attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
