Job Summary Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper, where your dedication to cleanliness and customer satisfaction will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of sanitation, floor care, and overall room cleanliness. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will ensure each guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, corridors, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment. Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety and chemical handling protocols. Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and perform floor care to maintain a spotless appearance. Manage heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or large supplies safely with proper manual handling techniques. Restock amenities, linens, and supplies to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency. Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns. Maintain sanitation standards through regular cleaning schedules and detailed documentation of cleaning activities. Experience Previous janitorial or custodial experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping management practices is advantageous. Experience with cleaning equipment such as vacuums and other janitorial tools is desirable. Knowledge of hotel safety protocols. Strong customer service skills to interact professionally with guests and team members. Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking. Prior experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping roles will help you excel in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
