Job Description

LECOM Institute for Successful Living is currently seeking a Full Time Lead Housekeeper, who is responsible for monitoring and supervising the cleaning of the Parkside North East, located at 2 Gibson Place, Erie PA, and related properties, as needed. Also, this candidate will assist in maintaining a positive environment for the employees and the overall visiting public. This position reports to the Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor. Oversees and directs staff to ensure projects and maintenance are complete in a timely and efficient manner. Exhibits leadership skills to motivate and respond to difficult situations with skill and confidence. Assists the Maintenance and Housekeeping Supervisor with performance issues and evaluations. Continually assesses and improves the physical environment looking to maximize service and efficiency. Takes personal responsibility to provide excellent service every day.

•This is a "hands on" supervisory role, in which the Lead Housekeeper will actively work with the other members of the department.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent Must have both previous Housekeeping and Supervisory experience Experience with interviewing, scheduling, and/or training is a plus
