About the Role As a Powder Coating Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in our finishing operations by ensuring parts are prepared, coated, and packaged to meet high-quality standards. You will gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while contributing to the overall efficiency and output of our production line. Responsibilities Prepare parts for the coating process by loading and hanging items according to detailed technical specifications. Monitor production line performance, including washer settings and line speed, to ensure consistent output. Perform thorough quality inspections on finished goods to verify they meet established durability and aesthetic standards. Execute efficient packing procedures to prepare finished components for shipment. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to maintain a safe, productive, and organized workspace. Utilize process sheets to ensure accurate handling and finishing of all materials. Qualifications Required Skills Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs independently and maneuvering heavier loads with assistance. Capacity to stand, bend, and move throughout a 10-hour shift in a production environment. Comfort working in areas with varying temperatures. Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical process documentation. Commitment to wearing all required personal protective equipment (PPE) including safety footwear and eye protection. Preferred Skills Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Familiarity with powder coating or metal finishing processes. Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team-oriented production environment.
