The Cabin Housekeeper is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and stocking cabins and guest areas to provide a comfortable and welcoming experience for resort members and guests. Duties include cleaning cabins, changing linens, restocking amenities, maintaining cleanliness standards, and reporting maintenance issues while supporting other housekeeping operations as needed. Cabin Housekeeper:

• Assures that the cabins are clean, sanitary, and have all of the necessary supplies.
• Assures cabins cleaned meet or exceed Member service expectations.
• Works well with other team members.
• While primary focus will be on cabin cleaning duties, must also will to cross train in all areas of housekeeping as needed.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Cabin Housekeeper Will:

• Clean rooms, hallways, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways according to checklist and time specifications.
• Clean carpets and/or upholstered furniture using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
• Change bedding and make beds as directed.
• Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
• Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using assigned means.
• Sweep, scrub, and/or polish floors, using brooms, mops, and/or powered scrubbing machines.
• Dust and polish furniture, window blinds, and equipment.
• Keep storage areas, vehicles, and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Polish silver accessories and metalwork such as fixtures and fittings.
• Clean walls, ceilings, and woodwork as necessary.
• Notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs or additions to cabin operating systems.
• Move and arrange furniture to clean around and under.
• Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft and found articles to supervisors.
• Clean glass partitions, windows, and mirrors.
• Remove debris from driveways and all public areas inside or out.
• Make sure all amenities for cabins are stocked and staged accordingly. This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and qualifications for performance. The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as part of daily duties
• Minimum availability May 1 - September 30 of 28 hours per week, including Sundays and the day after holidays
• Minimum availability October 1 - April 30 of 25 hours per week

• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends, the day after holidays, and special events as needed
