The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring an adequate supply of clean, sanitized linens for resort operations. This role washes, sorts, folds, and distributes linens, maintains a clean and organized laundry facility, monitors inventory and equipment needs, and provides excellent service to members and guests while supporting other housekeeping functions as needed. Laundry Attendant:

• Assures that Hart Ranch Camping Resort has an adequate supply of clean linen ready to be used on a daily basis.
• Interacts with guests to exchange linen or replenish supplies during business hours.
• Meets or exceeds Member service expectations.
• Works well with other team members.
• While the primary focus will be on Laundry Attendant duties, must be willing to be cross trained in all areas of housekeeping as needed.
• Adheres to Hart Ranch Camping Resort Employee Handbook and Employee Safety Manual.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Laundry Attendant Will:

• Collect, sort and wash soiled laundry, linens, garments, etc. in accordance with established procedures and time specifications.
• Transport supplies, including clean and soiled linens, to the appropriate storage and collection areas.
• Fold, count, and stack linens following approved laundry procedures.
• Routinely inspect linens for wear and tear, identify worn and torn linens, and following the procedures for damaged linens.
• Maintain the commercial laundry room in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition.
• Maintain hygiene of machines.
• Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
• Notify supervisor concerning the need for repairs or additions to laundry operating systems.
• Observe precautions required to protect Hart Ranch Members property, and report damage, theft, and found articles to supervisors.
• Maintain a record of the inventory of cleaning products.
• Wash out stains and keep the brightness of color in linens. This position profile identifies the key responsibilities and qualifications for performance. It cannot encompass all specific job tasks that an employee may be required to perform. The employee is required to follow and perform any other job-related instructions and duties as may be reasonably assigned by his/her supervisor.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be a motivated self-starter
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to stand, walk, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl as part of daily duties
• Minimum availability of 28 hours per week (May 1 - September 30)
• Minimum availability of 25 hours per week (October 1 - April 30)

• Must be able to work all shifts, including weekends, the day after holidays, and special events as needed
