In this vital role, you'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, comfort, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities to ensure top-quality standards. Perform floor care duties such as mopping, sweeping, and carpet cleaning to maintain a spotless environment. Restock supplies like toiletries, towels, linens, and other essentials to meet guest needs efficiently. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as hallways, lobbies, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel's high standards of hospitality. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and guest safety. Assist with special cleaning projects involving industrial or janitorial cleaning techniques when needed. Qualifications Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts. Prior janitorial or custodial experience is advantageous; hospitality experience is highly valued. Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus but not required.
