Responsibilities Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards. Maintain public spaces such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational areas by performing sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting tasks. Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support overall cleanliness. Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to ensure guest comfort and convenience. Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly. Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for swift resolution. Adhere to all health and safety regulations while performing janitorial and industrial cleaning tasks. Experience Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles is highly preferred. Familiarity with cleaning techniques including floor care—mopping, buffing, vacuuming—and the use of cleaning equipment. Knowledge of hospitality standards and janitorial practices that promote hygiene and guest satisfaction. Experience with industrial cleaning methods is a plus for maintaining large or specialized areas. Demonstrated ability to manage housekeeping tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail. Strong understanding of safety procedures related to custodial work and chemical handling.
