Housekeeping Room Attendant/Laundry Aide Housekeeping Room Attendants are responsible for ensuring guest rooms, public areas, and linens are clean, tidy, and welcoming. This role requires attention to detail, good organizational skills, and a courteous demeanor when interacting with guests.
Room Cleaning:
Making beds, changing linens, vacuuming carpets, dusting furniture, and cleaning windows.
Bathroom Maintenance:
Cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms, replenishing toiletries, and ensuring towels are replaced.
Restocking:
Replenishing room amenities such as drinking glasses, writing materials, and minibar items.
Inspection:
Checking rooms for any damages or maintenance issues and reporting them to management.
Trash Removal:
Removing trash and dirty linens from rooms.
Laundry Operations:
Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens, towels, and other laundry items according to established procedures.
Linen Management:
Monitoring linen inventory and helping ensure an adequate supply of clean linens is available for guest rooms and resort operations.
Guest Interaction:
Responding to guest inquiries or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Health and Safety:
Following health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and maintain a clean, sanitary work environment. This position may require standing for extended periods, lifting laundry bags and supplies, and working as part of a team to provide an exceptional guest experience. (full-time) / $18.50 per hour (part-time)
