The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The ideal candidate will be committed to providing a high standard of cleanliness and hospitality, contributing to a positive guest experience through efficient and thorough cleaning practices. Duties Perform daily cleaning tasks in guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces. Maintain cleanliness of common areas such as hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and laundry facilities. Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens to ensure availability for guests. Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to the appropriate department. Follow safety procedures and use cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Adhere to motel policies regarding hygiene standards and confidentiality. Assist with additional housekeeping duties as needed to support overall motel operations. Skills Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization. Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Good communication skills for coordinating with other staff members. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Reliability and punctuality in completing assigned tasks on time. Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety procedures is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
