Position Summary Housekeepers are essential to maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of the resort. This position is responsible for ensuring all areas of the resort are clean, well-stocked, and inviting. Housekeepers play a vital role in creating a safe, welcoming, and restorative environment for all guests. Benefits Employee discounts and access to resort amenities On-the-job training Opportunities for growth within the company Key Responsibilities Clean and sanitize locker rooms, public areas, restrooms, offices, and other designated spaces. Maintain cleanliness of saunas, poolside areas, cabanas, and changing facilities throughout the day. Replenish toiletries, and other supplies as needed. Empty trash in all areas of the property. Monitor and report any maintenance issues, damages, or safety hazards to the Housekeeping Supervisor or Operations Manager on duty. Follow daily cleaning schedules and tasks set by the Housekeeping Supervisor. Use cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with training and safety guidelines. Ensure a high standard of cleanliness, organization, and presentation throughout the property. Assist Lifeguards with towel collection Collaborate with team members and other departments to support seamless operations. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety protocols. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping or custodial experience a plus, but not required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong attention to detail and time management skills. Comfortable working in a physically active role (bending, lifting, walking, standing). Ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor in a guest-facing environment. Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Must be 21 years or older to apply . Essential Physical Functions Must be able to stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, reach, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull cleaning equipment, linens, and supplies weighing up to 40 pounds . Requires repetitive use of hands, arms, and shoulders for cleaning, scrubbing, and equipment operation. Must be able to work around cleaning chemicals, moisture, steam, and varying temperatures. Visual acuity sufficient to identify cleanliness standards, hazards, and detail work. Must be able to work in confined spaces and reach varying heights, including making beds and cleaning bathrooms. Standard Work Environment Conditions Employees may be required to work in environments that include: Indoor and outdoor resort settings Proximity to chlorine-treated pools, saltwater pools, and mineral hot springs pools Exposure to humidity, steam, moisture, and wet or slippery surfaces Variable temperatures, including heat from hot springs and outdoor sun exposure Exposure to cleaning agents, pool chemicals, and food service chemicals (role-dependent) High guest traffic, noise, and fast-paced service conditions How to
