Duties Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and sanitation of bathrooms using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents. Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and dining spaces by executing routine janitorial tasks with precision. Handle chemical agents safely by adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures. Use various cleaning equipment effectively, including vacuums, floor buffers, mops, and industrial cleaning tools to ensure optimal results. Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies while following manual handling safety protocols. Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff at all times. Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to guest requests and maintaining a friendly, professional attitude throughout your shift. Qualifications Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or custodial roles with knowledge of hotel housekeeping management best practices. Strong skills in floor cleaning, sanitation, and industrial cleaning techniques. Familiarity with cleaning equipment operation and chemical agent handling for safe and effective use. Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely while maintaining physical stamina. Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude towards guests and team members. Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety data sheets (SDS) compliance standards. Previous janitorial or custodial experience in hospitality or industrial settings is highly desirable.
