Responsibilities Clean an estimated 16 hotel guest rooms per working day. Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain hygiene standards and ensure safety compliance. Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and carpet extractors efficiently and safely. Manage laundry tasks including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing items. Handle manual lifting of furniture, appliances, and supplies with proper technique to prevent injury. Communicate effectively with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service. Maintain organized cleaning supplies inventory, use cleaning detergents appropriately, and ensure all surfaces are cleaned thoroughly. Conduct outdoor work when necessary to clean patios, walkways, or exterior windows as part of comprehensive housekeeping services. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning or custodial roles with knowledge of janitorial practices. Strong skills in cleaning surfaces, floor care, dusting, and carpet cleaning using various equipment and detergents. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks efficiently during cleaning routines. Excellent time management skills to complete tasks within scheduled timeframes without compromising quality. Knowledge of sanitation standards and procedures for maintaining hygienic environments. Prior outdoor work experience is a plus for exterior cleaning tasks. Exceptional customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients about their needs. Demonstrated reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple properties.
