Responsibilities Perform thorough cleaning of living or working spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold cleanliness standards. Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items with care. Maintain floors through proper care techniques including sweeping, mopping, carpet cleaning, and floor polishing to ensure a pristine appearance. Prepare and serve basic meals or snacks as needed, utilizing cooking skills to assist with guest or resident needs. Ensure all sanitation protocols are followed diligently to promote a healthy environment; manage waste disposal and disinfect high-touch areas regularly. Provide excellent customer service by addressing residents' or guests' requests promptly and professionally. Manage custodial supplies inventory and notify management when stock levels need replenishing to maintain operational efficiency. Requirements Proven experience in residential cleaning, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning environments; janitorial or custodial experience is highly valued. Knowledge of cleaning techniques including carpet cleaning, floor care, sanitation practices, and laundry procedures. Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending comfortably during cleaning routines. Strong customer service skills with a friendly approach to interacting with residents or guests. Familiarity with housekeeping management tools or systems is a plus; experience in hotel housekeeping is especially advantageous.
