Medical, Dental, AD&D Job Summary As an Evaporator Operator, you will operate and monitor equipment that removes water from juice to produce concentrate at the required quality and consistency. You will monitor temperatures, Brix levels, vacuum, steam, product flow, and tank levels while following safety and production procedures. ResponsibilitiesSafely operate and monitor the 3-stage evaporator system.

Complete equipment and start-up checks before production.

Monitor product Brix, temperature, flow rate, vacuum, steam, and tank levels.

Verify product source and destination tanks are available.

Monitor equipment and process conditions throughout production.

Make approved process adjustments within established operating limits.

Monitor equipment for alarms, loss of vacuum, temperature changes, pump issues, leaks, or other problems.

Report equipment, quality, and production concerns to the appropriate team.

Complete production, quality, downtime, and process documentation accurately.

Perform assigned cleaning and sanitation activities, including CIP procedures.

Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures.

Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area.

Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams.

Communicate important production updates and equipment issues during shift handoffs. QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.

Previous production or equipment operating experience preferred.

Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to monitor equipment and identify problems.

Basic troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.

Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks.

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work Environment This position may involve exposure to hot surfaces and liquids, steam, vacuum systems, pressurized process lines, cleaning chemicals, wet floors, elevated platforms, moving mechanical equipment, vibration, and high noise levels.
