Job Description
Full Steam Staffing is hiring Drum Line Filler Operators in Buttonwillow, CA! This position is responsible for safely operating filling equipment to transfer and package juice concentrate into drums. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, safety-minded, and comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.
Complete equipment and start-up checks before production.
Prepare hoses, valves, filters, and filling equipment for production.
Inspect filters and other equipment before use.
Monitor filling operations and verify accurate fill weights.
Prepare, fill, seal, and label drums according to production requirements.
Inspect drums and containers to ensure they are clean and suitable for use.
Verify product identification, labeling, and traceability.
Monitor equipment for leaks, alarms, unusual noises, vibration, or other issues.
Report equipment, quality, and production concerns to the appropriate team.
Complete production, quality, packaging, and downtime documentation.
Maintain a clean, organized, and production-ready work area.
Follow all safety, food safety, sanitation, and operating procedures.
Work closely with Production, Quality Assurance, Maintenance, and Sanitation teams.
Communicate important production updates and issues during shift handoffs. QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous production or equipment operating experience preferred.
Ability to follow written procedures and safety instructions.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to monitor equipment and identify problems.
Basic troubleshooting skills.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production tasks.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally. Work Environment This position may involve exposure to moving mechanical equipment, vibration, bright lighting, and cleaning chemicals.
