Job Description
Education:
High School Diploma or High School Equivalency.Qualifications:
Interest to develop skills in relating to children, parents and staff in a positive manner. Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:- Assists the bus driver with the safety, movement, management and care of the children boarding the school bus, leaving the bus or while being transported
- Ensure students remain seated while bus is in motion
- Seats self in an area on the bus to ensure observation of all passengers at all times and make sure they are following school bus safety rules
- Is aware of problems between students and keeping those students separated by assigning seats
- Ensures that a child takes his/her belongings with him/her when departing the bus
- Maintains a high standard of student conduct at all times
- Communicate student concerns to Transportation Coordinator
- Work with MV Liaison and Transportation Coordinator to maintain accurate routes
