Description:

The Manalapan-Englishtown Regional School District, an award-winning, Central Monmouth, K-8 school district with a tradition of excellence in education, is seeking per diem Substitute Bus Assistants with the following qualifications: A ll applicants must be an Epi-pen Delegate; the required training will be provided by the district.

Qualifications :

Lay out seat belts before arriving at child's bus stop Must prepare vehicle for any special need the student may have Must be in good physical condition Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Assist children getting in and out of bus; assist (lift) child getting into seat, and secure child with seatbelt Must be familiar with emergency evacuation procedures and assist the driver in the event of an emergency evacuation Must be able to assist the driver if it is necessary to back up the bus Must be patient and able to interact with special needs students Prior experience as a bus assistant preferred

Terms of Employment:

Per Diem Position Non-Tenure Track Hourly Rate $15.92 Benefits (if applicable, may include): Professional Development Opportunities Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
