Job Summary:

Transpo Bus Services is seeking a responsible and compassionate School Bus Monitor in ensuring the safe and orderly transportation of students. The ideal candidate will help maintain a secure environment on the bus, assist students as needed, and communicate effectively with drivers, parents, and school staff.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist students in safely boarding and exiting the bus. Ensure students are seated and properly secured before departure. Maintain order and enforce bus safety rules throughout the trip. Assist students with special needs, including securing mobility devices when necessary. Communicate with the bus driver about student behavior and any safety concerns. Provide assistance in case of emergency situations, including evacuations. Monitor students' behavior and report any incidents to the appropriate authorities. Interact professionally and courteously with students, parents, and school personnel. Perform daily checks to ensure safety equipment is operational.

Qualifications:

Must be at least 19 years old. Experience working with children or in a similar role is a plus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to remain calm and handle emergency situations effectively.
