Wednesday-Sunday Join Our Team Peninsula Post-Acute is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Activity Assistant to help create meaningful and engaging experiences for our residents. If you enjoy working with seniors and bringing creativity, energy, and positivity to the workplace, we'd love to hear from you.
Your Responsibilities Lead Daily Activities:
Plan and facilitate engaging group activities, hobbies, games, and local outings that promote social connection, creativity, and overall well-being.
Create Meaningful Experiences:
Encourage residents to participate in activities based on their interests, abilities, and individual preferences.
Build Relationships:
Develop warm, respectful relationships with residents, families, and fellow team members. Maintain a
Safe Environment:
Follow facility policies and safety standards while ensuring activities are appropriate and enjoyable for all residents.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with nursing and other departments to support resident engagement and quality of life. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in activities, recreation, senior care, or a related field preferred. Excellent attendance and strong reliability are required. Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled. Positive, creative, and energetic personality with a genuine interest in working with seniors. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Must maintain natural, short nails ; fake, long, or artificial nails are not permitted. Why Join Peninsula Post-Acute?
