Duties Supervise and engage with pets during camp activities, ensuring their safety and happiness at all times Assist with pet handling, including dog training, animal restraint, and behavior management to promote positive interactions Maintain cleanliness of the pet care facility through sanitization, grooming, and general cleaning duties Support pet boarding by feeding, administering medications if needed, and monitoring pet health and behavior Assist with outdoor activities such as walking dogs, playing fetch, or supervising group play sessions to promote exercise and socialization Handle heavy lifting tasks related to equipment or supplies while practicing proper team lifting techniques Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with pet owners and addressing their questions or concerns Skills Previous veterinary experience or veterinary technician experience is highly valued for understanding animal health needs Pet sitting or kennel experience demonstrates your ability to care for animals responsibly in a group setting Dog training skills contribute to managing behavior and enhancing pet experiences during camp activities Animal handling expertise ensures safe restraint and interaction with diverse breeds and temperaments Strong cleaning skills are essential for maintaining a sanitized environment that promotes pet health Customer service skills help foster positive relationships with pet owners and team members Outdoor work experience supports active engagement in outdoor activities and exercise routines for pets Knowledge of animal behavior aids in recognizing signs of stress or discomfort to ensure well-being Days Expected/Needed to
