Activities Assistant Great Lakes Management Company 18 To 19 (USD) Hourly sick time United States, Minnesota, St. Paul Aug 11, 2026 Job Objective(s): Responsible to assist Director of Resident Services in planning and leading a variety of activity programs designed to meet the resident's social, physical, mental, emotional, and sensory needs.
Activities Job Details:
Hours- every Friday and Saturday. Hours from 8:30 am
- 5:00pm Pay Range
- $18.00
- 19.00/hour Location

Paid Sick Time DailyPay Qualifications Minimum of 1-year activities experience in independent retirement, assisted living, adult day services or long-term care facility serving a senior population. Valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record. Currently possess a Class C license, or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire. Ability to use basic Windows, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) computer programs. Creativity in developing and planning activity programs. Group leadership and interpersonal skills to lead one on one, small, and large group activities. Able to make responsible choices and decisions, and act in a resident's best interest. Strong organizational skills Good work ethic Maintains confidentiality. Able to read, write, spell, do basic math, speak and understand English Job Responsibilities and Duties Responsible for assisting Activity Coordinator with planning, promotion, and facilitating/leading each event or program. Assess resident's recreational and social needs. Support development of monthly Activity Calendar of Events. Lead small, large and one on one activity programs with seniors. Research and recommend to Coordinator entertainment/educational speakers/church representatives, etc. Support coordination of transportation needs to outside events/programs in accordance with established policies and procedures. Accompany residents on field trips as assigned. Work cooperatively with assigned volunteers and direct their assignments to support the resident programming. Maintain the STSW bus interior and exterior. Report maintenance needs in timely manner. Other duties as assigned. Every Friday and Saturday, 8:30 AM- 5:00 PM
