Garden View Care Center at Dougherty Ferry, a premiere skilled nursing facility in the St. Louis area is currently accepting applications in our Activities department. One of the highlights of our facility is extended fun for our residents including: assisting with activities and entertainment that will bring joy to the residents at Garden View Care Center. The ideal candidate is patient, caring, compassionate, and possesses a desire to provide excellent care and customer service to our residents. Candidates must be flexible, able to cheerfully perform multiple tasks, and able to assist the Activities Director in the daily operation of activities for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Plan, organize, and lead recreational activities for residents.
• Assist in coordinating events, outings, and social gatherings to promote social interaction and overall well-being.
• Support residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed.
• Collaborate with the care team to develop personalized activity plans based on residents' interests and abilities.
• Maintain accurate records of resident participation and progress.
