Summary We are seeking an energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic individual to join our summer camp team as a Summer Camp Activities Coordinator for children in grades 2-5. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with youth and creating meaningful, engaging experiences for children. The selected candidate will help foster a fun, safe, and inclusive environment where campers can learn, explore, and build positive relationships. Daily responsibilities include leading and assisting with recreational activities, arts and crafts, educational projects, outdoor games, and team-building exercises while serving as a positive role model and mentor. Responsibilities Plan and lead engaging activities that encourage creativity, learning, and teamwork. Supervise campers during daily programs and outings to ensure safety and well-being. Provide mentorship, encouragement, and guidance to support campers' personal growth. Promote a positive and respectful camp culture among campers and staff. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding camper needs and progress. Assist with maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming camp environment. Support fellow staff members with daily camp operations and group activities. Requirements Previous experience working with children in a camp, school, childcare, or recreational setting preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead activities such as sports, arts and crafts, educational games, or group projects. Positive attitude, patience, and enthusiasm for working with youth. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. A passion for working with youth and fostering their development.
