Now's your chance to become a part of the Legacy Lifestyle! Legacy Retirement Communities is hiring for an Activities Aide working with our Assisted Living & Memory Care residents! This is a part-time position working the day shift three (3) shifts per week; approximately 24 hours per week. Shift times may vary. Bingo Emcee. Manicurist. Virtual tour guide. The list goes on and on when you become a part of the Activities team! Are you a jack-of-all-trades and welcoming in all you do? If so read on!Do you possess:
- The ability to create fun activities and coordinate all the details to make the activity successful?
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office products to create bulletins, flyers, postings, spreadsheets, etc.?
- Technical skills to assist others with minor issues with personal computers, televisions, telephones, iPads, etc.?
- Compassion, empathy and interpersonal relations skills to provide TLC to the senior population?
Our team needs you to:
- Assist in the planning, development, coordination and implementation of varying levels of activities for our residents.
- Encourage participation in activities and ensure everything (supplies, refreshments, prizes, entertainers, etc.) are available and ready to make the activity a success.
- Create postings and flyers for communication of events including updating of bulletin boards.
- Assist our residents with technical issues with personal computers, televisions, telephones, iPads and other electronic devices.
- Build lasting relationships with residents by having one-on-one conversations, being available to assist when needed and by being a friend.
