JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
The Penn State Athletics Marketing and Fan Experience Department is seeking highly motivated prospective and currently enrolled students who are interested in gaining experience in athletic marketing, fan experience, or game day management. Students with strong written and verbal communication skills, who are dependable, can easily work independently and as a member of a team are encouraged to apply. Candidates also must be able to lift 25lbs or more. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Adobe Creative Suite preferred but not required. Penn State Athletics Fan Experience Interns assist the Marketing and Fan Experience Department's full-time staff in planning and executing game production and promotions at all home athletic events. Interns will have the opportunity to work at all 31 Penn State Athletics events, as well as grassroots initiatives on campus and in the community.
BACKGROUND CHECKS/CLEARANCES
This position requires the following clearances in addition to applicable background checks: PA State Police Criminal Background Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form, and Federal (FBI) Fingerprint Criminal Background Check.
