Job Description

The Activity Attendant assists participants with daily activities while promoting a safe, engaging, and welcoming environment. This position helps implement recreational, educational, social, and therapeutic actives that enhance participants' physical, emotional, and mental well-being. The Activity Attendant also assist with participant supervision, meals, transportation assistance, and maintaining a clean and organized activity center Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist with planning and leading daily activities. Encourage participant involvement and soical interaction. Assist with mobility, ADLs' meals, transportaion, documentation, and participant supervision. Observe and report changes in participant condition. Maintain a clean, sage environment. Follow HHSC regulations, infection control standards, and agency policies. Attend required training and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED preferred. Experience working with older adults preferred. CPR/First Aid cerification or ability to obtain. Must successfully complete required background checks.
