Job Description

Activity Assistant Highland Court Memory Care is currently hiring a part time Activities Assistant. Must be 18 years of age. Provide assistance to the Activity Director and bring your special flare to our resident's life enrichment program. Make a difference in the lives of others and join our team!

Qualifications:

Experience with seniors preferred. Candidates should exhibit compassion, an energetic personality and creativeness in assisting with therapeutic activities for our residents. Must be dependable and able to maintain a flexible schedule. Some experience in social or recreation programming is preferred, or experience working in a healthcare setting.

Key Job Duties/Skillset:

Assist in all components of the Activity Department to assure that an ongoing program of activities is meeting the interests and wellbeing of each resident. Potentially assist in coordinating and scheduling outside vendors and presenters. Assist in the creation and execution of activities that engage each resident. Participate in community event planning with the marketing staff. Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment

$21.00 - $23.00 per hour

Experience:

working in a senior living environment: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:
