Position Overview The Hermosa Inn and LON's at the Hermosa are seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills, a hands-on management style, and a proven ability to lead restaurant operations in a fast-paced, high-quality dining environment. Previous fine dining, luxury hotel, or resort experience is preferred. Responsibilities Lead and oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure exceptional guest service and a seamless dining experience. Maintain and consistently uphold the service standards and expectations of a AAA Four Diamond restaurant. Recruit, train, coach, and develop restaurant team members to promote a high-performing and engaged team. Supervise and support front-of-house staff, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and effective delegation of responsibilities. Monitor service throughout each shift and proactively address guest needs, concerns, and service recovery opportunities. Foster a positive, professional, and respectful work environment while holding team members accountable to established standards. Work closely with the culinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination between front and back of house. Assist with scheduling, labor management, and controlling operational costs while maintaining service standards. Monitor restaurant cleanliness, organization, appearance, and overall readiness for service. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, alcohol service, and company policies and procedures. Handle guest complaints and service issues professionally and effectively, using sound judgment to resolve concerns. Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate daily priorities, specials, service expectations, and other pertinent information to the team. Monitor inventory, supplies, and equipment and communicate needs to appropriate leadership. Support restaurant events, special functions, and other resort operations as needed. Maintain a strong presence on the floor and lead by example during service. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned Skills Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Restaurant Manager, or similar leadership role. Previous experience in fine dining, upscale restaurants, luxury hotels, or resorts preferred. Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, service standards, and hospitality practices. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to train, coach, motivate, and hold team members accountable. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Strong understanding of guest service and service recovery. Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol service requirements.
