Fellow Barber is looking for a thoughtful, dependable General Manager to help run our Silverlake and Highland Park shops. We're a family owned Los Angeles business, and our shops are built around good service, skilled barbers, and the people who make each location. This is a hands-on, in-person job for someone who likes working with people and is good at keeping the everyday details on track. The person in this role will work closely with the barbers and front desk teams, handle many of the day-to-day questions and problems, and help both shops run smoothly. Some days will be about schedules, timecards, or product orders. Others may involve helping a guest, covering the front desk when someone calls out, or arranging a repair. There's variety here, and usually something new to figure out. What you'll do Help manage daily operations at both the Silverlake and Highland Park shops. Work with barbers and front desk leads to build and maintain reliable schedules and coverage. Support hiring, onboarding, coaching, and corrective action, in partnership with ownership. Ownership will make final hiring decisions. Handle weekly timecard review and approval, and follow up on timekeeping questions. Order products, check deliveries, and help keep supplies organized. Help improve service sales and product sales, including finding products that make sense for our shops and clients. Respond to guest and staff questions by phone and email, with clear communication and follow-through. Step in at the front desk when coverage is unexpectedly needed. Take care of occasional light shop maintenance, such as cleaning a towel warmer, and coordinate repairs for equipment like washers and dryers. Handle occasional cash-related tasks. Travel between our Silver Lake and Highland Park locations. What we're looking for Someone conscientious, reliable, and good at following through. A calm, empathetic approach to working with a diverse team and a wide range of personalities. Strong customer-service instincts and comfort speaking with guests by phone. Clear, professional email and communication skills. Good organization and judgment, including the ability to handle sensitive staff matters thoughtfully. Comfort taking responsibility for routine details as well as unexpected problems. An interest in small businesses and in helping a business stay healthy while giving staff and guests a good experience. A reliable car and the ability to travel between the two shops. Comfort with mornings and helping make sure the shops are staffed and ready to open. Experience in a barbershop, salon, restaurant, or another hospitality setting would be useful. An interest in grooming, beauty products, or fragrance is a plus. You don't need to be a barber; you do need to respect the work and understand that a great shop depends on a lot of people doing their part. The role
