The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. As a Kitchen Manager, you will oversee kitchen operations, supervise staff, and ensure an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Duties:
Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Participate in the hiring and training of new kitchen staff. Menu planning, recipe development, and food production. Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in accordance with health regulations. Oversee food preparation and presentation to ensure consistency and quality. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service during peak hours. Monitor kitchen performance and implement improvements as necessary.
Experience:
Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager or in a similar role within an upscale dining establishment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and food handling procedures. Experience in supervising kitchen staff and managing food production processes. Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence. Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
