Occasional domestic travel About VABBÈ Pizza VABBÈ Pizza is a growing fast-casual concept specializing in Roman-style pizza, sandwiches, and Italian-inspired food. We are preparing to open our first company-operated restaurant and expanding our U.S. franchise network. VABBÈ is backed by the team and foodservice experience behind Donna Italia, an established international Italian food company. About the Role We're looking for a hands-on restaurant operator with strong culinary judgment to open and lead our first company-operated restaurant. You'll also build the operating standards and training that support our franchisees. What You'll Do Plan and lead the opening of our first company-operated restaurant, then manage its team, daily operations, and financial performance. Set and maintain standards for food quality, service, cleanliness, food safety, speed, and product presentation. Monitor sales, labor, food costs, inventory, waste, and guest feedback; identify problems and take corrective action. Develop and document recipes, portions, preparation methods, hold times, and food costs. Evaluate new menu items for quality, practicality, and profitability. Create operating procedures, checklists, and training materials that can be used across locations. Lead franchisee onboarding, opening preparation, training, and ongoing support. Evaluate franchise locations and follow through on corrective actions. Assess prospective locations, kitchen layouts, equipment, staffing, and readiness for future openings. Report to the CEO on opening progress, restaurant performance, franchise readiness, and operational risks. What You Bring At least seven years of progressive restaurant or foodservice operations experience. Experience opening a restaurant, from pre-opening preparation through launch. Experience owning a foodservice business or managing at least two restaurant locations, with responsibility for financial and operational results. Strong hands-on culinary skills, including recipe development, food preparation, kitchen workflow, and product presentation. Solid understanding of restaurant P&L, food and labor costs, inventory, purchasing, waste, and food safety. Experience training teams, improving operating procedures, and holding people accountable professionally. Ability to work on-site in South Florida, travel occasionally, and adjust your schedule during openings or urgent operational needs. Experience with franchising or display-driven fast-casual concepts is a plus.
