Senior General Manager include but are not limited to: The Senior General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the theater's dine-in and restaurant operations, with accountability for delivering exceptional guest experience while achieving financial, operational, culinary, and people-development goals. This role is responsible for ensuring alignment across Front of House, Back of House, and the overall theater experience. The Senior General Manager will continually focus on achieving unit profitability through guest satisfaction, revenue generation, cost control, operational execution, and people development while maintaining the integrity of the brand. Leadership & Team Development Provide visible, engaged leadership to the management team and hourly team members while creating a culture focused on hospitality, accountability, teamwork, and exceeding guest expectations. Directly lead, coach, and develop the team establishing clear expectations, goals, and accountability. Partner with the to ensure consistent leadership, standards, and execution across both culinary operations. Build a strong partnership between Front of House and Back of House leadership to ensure seamless execution and consistent guest experiences. Attract, recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and develop management and hourly team members in partnership with the appropriate leaders. Ensure all managers and supervisors consistently follow company training standards and effectively train, coach, and develop their teams. Identify high-potential team members and create opportunities for continued growth and career development. Conduct regular leadership meetings, performance discussions, coaching sessions, and follow-ups to ensure alignment and accountability. Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performing work environment where team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to contribute their best. Theater & Dine-In Operations Have overall accountability for the successful operation of the restaurant and dine-in movie experience. Ensure the restaurant and dine-in movie experience operate as one integrated operation while maintaining the unique service requirements of each experience. Partner with the Restaurant Management and Executive Kitchen Manager to establish operating priorities, goals, staffing plans, and action plans. Ensure consistent execution of service standards, food quality, beverage service, cleanliness, speed of service, and overall hospitality. Maintain a strong leadership presence throughout the operation, particularly during peak business periods. Monitor daily operations and proactively address service, staffing, guest, facility, culinary, and operational challenges. Ensure appropriate staffing levels and deployment based on business volume, forecasts, and operational needs. Review business performance regularly and adjust operational strategies as needed to maximize the guest experience and financial results. Culinary & Kitchen Operations Provide overall leadership and accountability for culinary performance in partnership with the Executive Kitchen Manager. Ensure BOH operations consistently deliver high-quality food that meets company standards for taste, presentation, portioning, timing, and consistency Ensure appropriate staffing, scheduling, training, and standard procedures at met kitchen operations. Monitor food quality, food safety, sanitation, inventory, waste, purchasing, and food cost. Review culinary performance and financial results with the Executive Kitchen Manager and establish action plans where opportunities exist. Ensure effective communication and coordination between the kitchens and Front of House teams. Support menu execution, recipe adherence, portion control, and product consistency. Ensure compliance with all applicable food safety, sanitation, health, and company standards. Financial & Business Management Have overall accountability for financial performance and profitability. Analyze P&L statements, budgets, forecasts, sales trends, and operating results to identify opportunities and areas requiring improvement. Establish and monitor financial goals for sales, food, beverage, labor, and other controllable expenses. Partner with the Restaurant Management and Executive Kitchen Manager to manage food, beverage, labor, and operating costs while maintaining appropriate service levels. Monitor spending against budget and implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize unnecessary costs. Identify opportunities to increase sales, improve margins, and enhance overall unit profitability. Ensure financial controls, cash handling, purchasing, inventory, labor, and other company procedures are consistently followed. Guest Experience & Hospitality Promote an environment of customer advocacy through outstanding guest experiences and exceptional hospitality. Establish and maintain high standards of service, food quality, cleanliness, and overall guest satisfaction across both the restaurant and dine-in movie experience. Monitor guest feedback - reviews, and other guest experience metrics and develop action plans to address opportunities. Personally engage with guests and team members to understand the overall guest experience and identify opportunities for improvement. Resolve escalated guest concerns professionally and effectively while protecting the integrity of the brand. Recognize and celebrate team members who consistently deliver exceptional service. Operational Controls & Systems Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, standards, and operating systems. Maintain accurate operational, financial, inventory, labor, and administrative records. Ensure inventory procedures are consistently followed for BOH operations and that appropriate controls are in place to minimize waste and unnecessary costs. Monitor scheduling practices to ensure labor is aligned with business needs while maintaining appropriate service levels. Ensure all required operational audits, inspections, checklists, and reporting are completed accurately and on time. Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 5 years of progressive leadership experience in high-volume hospitality, restaurant, entertainment, or related operations. Previous experience as a General Manage or Senior General Manage. Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, develop, and hold management teams accountable. Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, labor, food and beverage costs, inventory, waste, and controllable expenses. Proven ability to analyze financial and operational data and translate results into actionable business plans. Strong understanding of Front of House and Back of House restaurant operations. Experience overseeing high-volume, multi facet operations preferred. Strong understanding of staffing, scheduling, labor management, inventory control, and operational procedures. Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong business acumen with the ability to balance guest experience, team development, culinary execution, and financial performance. Demonstrated commitment to hospitality and creating exceptional guest experiences. Ability to build strong relationships and effectively influence and collaborate with team members at all levels. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and peak business periods as required. Must be able to perform the physical requirements of the position, including standing and walking for extended periods and working in a fast-paced operating environment.
