Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to oversee operations in our fast-paced food service environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a thorough understanding of restaurant management, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient kitchen and FOH operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, and food safety standards while fostering a positive team atmosphere. Duties Supervise daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies. Train, mentor, and develop staff in food preparation, customer service, and operational procedures. Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accurate financial reporting. Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene in compliance with health regulations. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food production and quality service delivery. Implement effective shift management practices to optimize staffing levels during peak hours. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new team members. Foster a positive dining experience for guests by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly. Collaborate with upper management on budgeting and financial planning for the restaurant. Requirements Proven experience in restaurant management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary practices. Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS is preferred. Experience in inventory control, cash handling, and budget management is essential. Excellent leadership skills with a focus on team management and staff training & development. Background in fine dining or casual dining environments is advantageous. Strong communication skills with an emphasis on customer service excellence. Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food handling is required.
