Bourbon's Kitchen & Cocktails | Framingham, Massachusetts Bourbon's Kitchen & Cocktails has built something we're incredibly proud of: a successful restaurant, an exceptional reputation, a loyal following, and a team that genuinely cares about the place they work. We don't take any of that for granted. We're looking for an Assistant General Manager (AGM) who feels the same way—someone who wants to step in as a true second-in-command and strategic partner to our General Manager. We need a leader who is hungry enough to believe we can always be better, but thoughtful enough to recognize what already makes Bourbon's special. Someone who loves restaurants—the food, the drinks, the energy, the people, and, above all, the hospitality. Ultimately, we're looking for an AGM who doesn't just see this as a shift-supervising job, but someone who co-owns the room, develops our people, and treats Bourbon's like it's their own.
THE OPPORTUNITY
We're looking for a hospitality-driven operator who wants to sink their teeth into a great restaurant, earn meaningful autonomy, and partner with our GM to run a seamless operation. You'll have real responsibility for the daily floor execution, staff culture, and high standards of the restaurant—and the authority to match it. This is a premier leadership role for an elite manager who wants to know our regulars, build a world-class service team, care deeply about our food and beverage program, and take genuine pride in the experience we deliver every night.
WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR
You are someone who:
Loves Hospitality:
Genuinely thrives on taking care of people and creating memorable guest experiences. Leads from the
Floor:
Sets the operational pace by example, commanding the floor during peak volume. Acts as a
Culture Champion:
Builds strong front-of-house and back-of-house alignment, understanding the value of retaining great people.
Maintains High Standards:
Demands operational excellence and consistency without losing empathy for the team.
Possesses Product Passion:

Business:
Comfortable with the financial side of restaurants, helping manage labor targets, inventory, and COGS.
Balances Confidence and Humility:
Has the confidence to make critical floor decisions and the humility to listen and learn first.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Success is walking into Bourbon's and feeling a cohesive, expertly coached management presence on the floor. It's a staff that is proud to work here because they feel supported and mentored by you. It's protecting the relationships we've built with longtime guests while actively turning first-time visitors into regulars. It's ensuring absolute consistency—in the kitchen, behind the bar, and throughout the service—even when the General Manager is off-site. It's noticing small issues before they become major problems and taking instinctive responsibility for the room.
A LONG-TERM HOME & WORK-LIFE BALANCE
We are looking for a leader to grow with us, not use us as a temporary stepping stone to another company. Our goal is to mentor you into a General Manager capacity right here at Bourbon's. We want to create a stable, rewarding environment where a talented restaurant professional can be challenged, well-compensated, respected by ownership, and excited to come to work for years to come.
