Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager to assist and lead our team in delivering exceptional service and maintaining operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the food service industry. This role is essential in fostering a positive work environment, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving the success of our establishment. Duties Oversee daily operations, ensuring all staff adhere to company policies and standards. Lead, mentor, and train team members to enhance their skills and performance. Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies and minimizing waste. Coordinate food preparation and service for events, including catering. Conduct interviews and assist in the hiring process for new staff members. Implement effective customer service strategies to enhance guest experiences. Utilize POS systems (Toast) for efficient transaction processing and reporting. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and dining areas. Scheduling Skills Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team development. Proficient in interviewing techniques to select qualified candidates. Knowledge of food preparation methods and safety standards. Experience in managing effectively. Background in food service operations with an emphasis on customer satisfaction. Competence in inventory control practices to optimize stock levels. Familiarity with POS systems for streamlined operations. Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or higher is required. Excellent customer service skills to address guest inquiries and concerns. Ability to train staff effectively on operational procedures and best practices.
