SUMMARY OF JOB
The Assistant Manager provides the administrative support to the Restaurant staff in the absence of the Manager by providing products to all customers and maintaining a conducive work environment. To accomplish these tasks, the Assistant Manager works closely with the Manager, General Manager, Restaurant Staff, Home Office Personnel and customers.
DAILY DUTIES
1. Give fast, friendly customer service 2. Effectively communicates with all customers. 3. Adhere to all product formulas. 4. Prepare all back-up products utilizing the correct equipment to perform each duty. 5. Operate all equipment according to manufactures regulations. 6. Accurately perform daily inventory counts utilizing the proper forms provided. 7. Understand and adhere to all Trexcon and county Health and Safety policies regarding the proper handling of food. 8. Proper hand washing 9. Proper glove usage 10. Maintain products within the proper food temperature zones 11. Proper storage of all foods according to product type 12. Mark times and dates of opened and prepared food products 13. Daily evaluation of products to remove outdated items 14. Accurately perform and record temperatures of products on the designated temperature food logs at least once per shift. 15. Provide for corrective actions for all products within the temperature danger zone 16. Receive delivery from approved distributor and accurately account for every item on invoice. 17. Adhere to all uniform policies. 18. Maintain and account for all product inventory. 19. Assemble products for customers when it is ordered. 20. Accurately perform money transactions on the register. 21. Properly use time clock to record all duty time. 22. Finalize shift paperwork. 23. Sweep and mop floors. 24. Clean Restrooms. 25. Empty trash containers inside and outside of the store. 26. Clean sidewalks and parking lot areas. 27. Complete all food adjustments. 28. Other duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The following responsibilities are to be performed in the absence of or as requested by the Manager. 1. Ensures that all activities conform to Trexcon policies and procedures. 2. Communicate effectively and appropriately with all staff members. 3. React to change productively and handle other tasks as assigned. Remains flexible in daily routine. 4. Support the mission statement and Core Values of Trexcon. 5. Give fast, friendly customer service. 6. Finalize daily paperwork. 7. Interviewing and hiring of potential employees. 8. Discipline and dismissal of Restaurant Staff. 9. Develop work schedules for Restaurant Staff maintaining total hours at or below the budget hours for that location. 10. Organize training of new employees. 11. Read and respond to email, text messages and intra-mail on a daily basis. 12. Reconcile Restaurant Staff time punches and payroll reports and submit to the Home Office as per policy. 13. Order products from approved vendors. 14. Keep track of daily sales and inventory. 15. Establish communication with Home Office Personnel to assist with procedural issues. 16. Establish communications with the Maintenance Department to assist with repairs. 17. Keep the building and equipment clean and in working order. 18. Organize and execute regular staff meetings. 19. Attend management team meetings. 20. Reflect the Core Values of Trexcon.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION
1. Requires prolonged standing. 2. Requires physical exertion to manually move, lift at least 55 lbs., carry, pull, or push heavy objects or materials. 3. Occasional stooping, bending, reaching and climbing ladders or step stools.... Visit the Employer site for more details
