Summary of Position :
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee all kitchen operations at our assigned school location. This full-time role is responsible for ensuring efficient daily food service operations while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and compliance.Responsibilities :
- Oversee food preparation and service to ensure all meals meet company recipes, production records, and established quality standards.
- Manage ordering, receiving, and inventory control, including proper storage, FIFO rotation, and food cost management.
- Ensure full compliance with company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and child nutrition standards.
- Supervise kitchen operations, including staff scheduling, training, performance management, and completion of required reports and documentation.
- Maintain kitchen facilities and equipment, including sanitation, temperature monitoring, preventive maintenance, and adherence to cleaning schedules.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- ServSafe certification required or must be obtained prior to assuming full responsibilities.
- Experience with POS systems, online reporting tools, inventory management, and food ordering preferred.
- Prior food‑service and supervisory experience strongly preferred.
- Ability to pass a nationwide background check
- Reliable transportation required.
- Basic math and computer proficiency.
