Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and strategic General Manager to lead our retail operations with energy and vision. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily store functions, drive sales growth, manage teams, and ensure exceptional customer service. Your leadership will inspire staff, optimize operational efficiency, and uphold the highest standards of store management. Duties Lead and supervise all store activities, ensuring smooth daily operations and adherence to company policies. Recruit, interview, and onboard new employees, fostering a strong team-oriented culture. Manage employee orientation, training & development programs to enhance team performance. Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, and merchandising to maximize sales potential. Implement effective pricing strategies and sales techniques to meet revenue targets. Handle payroll processing, bookkeeping, cash handling, and POS (Point of Sale) system management with accuracy. Monitor store performance metrics, analyze sales data, and develop action plans for continuous improvement. Ensure excellent customer service by addressing concerns promptly and maintaining high satisfaction levels. Supervise shift management, cashiering operations, and overall store cleanliness and safety standards. Coordinate purchasing decisions and inventory control to optimize stock levels while minimizing waste. Skills Proven management experience in restaurant or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities. At least 2 years butchering experience with a strong understanding for food saftey and handling. Strong negotiation skills coupled with excellent communication abilities in multiple languages; bilingual proficiency is a plus. Skilled in recruiting, interviewing, employee orientation, training & development, and team management. Proficient in POS systems, inventory control software, budgeting tools, and basic math for financial transactions. Demonstrated leadership in retail sales management, operational oversight, and merchandising strategies. Ability to handle cash handling procedures accurately and manage payroll processes efficiently. Excellent organizational skills with a focus on time management and multitasking under pressure. Knowledge of retail industry sales techniques, pricing strategies, and customer service excellence. Experience with shift management, supervising retail teams, and implementing operational improvements. Multilingual capabilities or bilingual fluency enhance communication with diverse customer bases; organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
