Summary:
The General Manager (GM) is the senior leader of a single site location, accountable for unit profitability, operational execution, team leadership, on-site company assets, and guest experience. The GM sets the standard for performance, culture, and brand execution and develops future leaders within the organization.
Schedule:
The General Manager is expected to work a minimum of 50 hours per week across an appropriate mix of day/evening and weekday/weekend shifts in support of business needs. The GM must be present during peak business periods, including high-volume days, promotional events, and operationally critical shifts. The role requires availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on store demand and staffing needs. Business & Financial Performance 1. Own unit-level results, including sales, labor, food cost, and controllable expenses 2. Forecast sales, staffing, and inventory needs accurately 3. Manage weekly KPIs and execute action plans to improve performance Operations & Brand Standards 1. Ensure consistent execution of company operating standards, recipes, and food safety 2. Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organization, and equipment care 3. Ensure appropriate open and closing procedures are executed daily 4. Execute company initiatives and promotions accurately and on time People Leadership 1. Hire, train, coach, and retain high-performing team members 2. Build a positive, accountable culture aligned with company values 3. Develop shift leaders and assistant managers for advancement Customer Experience 1. Lead by example in hospitality and service execution 2. Resolve customer issues professionally and proactively Administrative & Compliance 1. Ensure accurate reporting, cash controls, and policy compliance 2.
