October 2026 Butcher & Barrel is opening a new location in O'Bryonville this October, returning to one of Cincinnati's most established dining corners. We're hiring a General Manager to run daily operations for a high-volume, elevated Argentine-inspired steakhouse. What You'll Do Floor & Guest Experience Lead pre-shift meetings, write floor plans, and run service across FOH Manage the guest experience and resolve issues before they escalate Oversee host operations: turn times, seating flow, table maximization, and private events Manage bar operations — inventory, keg/CO2 changes, batching, and service standards Financial & Administrative Own P&L performance: food cost %, labor cost %, and COGS Run and interpret sales and labor reports in Toast Back Office; manage schedule-to-budget planning Complete monthly inventory counts, invoicing, and the weekly financial packet Verify payroll, manage tip distribution, and handle cash reconciliation and deposits Maintain vendor relationships and ensure accurate invoice coding Team & Systems Recruit, onboard, and train hourly staff; manage job postings on Indeed Cross-train staff across host, server, bar, and support roles Administer Toast POS, OpenTable and scheduling Conduct facility walkthroughs and maintain a safe environment Collect and reconcile server checkouts; enforce opening/closing procedures Requirements 3+ years as a General Manager or Assistant GM in a high-volume, full-service restaurant (upscale or fine dining preferred) Strong grasp of restaurant financials — food/labor cost control, inventory, budgeting Experience with Toast and OpenTable preferred Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays Compensation & Benefits $75,000 salary Profit sharing bonus plan Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off (PTO)
